  1. Eligibility for Refunds

To be eligible for a refund, the product(s) must be returned and received by Buynep within the specified timeframe from the date of delivery (to be clearly communicated on the platform, e.g., within 7 days).

The product(s) must be in their original condition, unused, and with all original tags, labels, and packaging intact.

Certain product categories may not be eligible for refunds due to hygiene reasons or other specific conditions. These exceptions will be clearly stated on the product page at the time of purchase.

Proof of purchase, such as the order number or invoice, is required for all refund requests.

Products distributed via special offers, promotions, or as part of giveaways may not be eligible for refunds unless explicitly stated in the offer’s terms.

The product must not be damaged or tampered with in any form.

  1. Initiating a Refund Request

To initiate a refund, please visit the “My Orders” section of your Buynep account on our website or mobile application. Select the order containing the item(s) you wish to return and follow the instructions to submit a refund request.

You will be required to provide a reason for the return. Please provide accurate and detailed information to help us process your request efficiently.

You may be asked to upload supporting evidence, such as images or videos, to demonstrate any issues with the product.

Refund requests must be initiated within the specified timeframe (e.g., 7 days) from the date of delivery.

  1. Return Process

Once your refund request is approved, we will provide you with instructions on how to return the product(s).

Depending on the product and your location, we may arrange for a pickup of the item(s) or request you to ship them back to a designated Buynep address.

Please ensure that the returned product(s) are securely packaged to prevent any damage during transit. 

You may be responsible for the return shipping costs unless the return is due to a defect in the product or an error on our part. This will be communicated to you during the refund process.   

Customers must ensure the item is ready for pickup at the agreed time and location, if a pickup is arranged.

  1. Quality Check and Processing Time

Upon receiving the returned product(s), our quality control team will inspect them to ensure they meet the eligibility criteria mentioned in Section 1. This process typically takes 1-2 working days from the date we receive the returned item(s).

Once the quality check is completed and the return is approved for a refund, we will initiate the refund process.

The time taken for the refund to be processed and credited to you will depend on the original payment method you used for your purchase, as outlined below:

Depending on the original payment method and the reason for the return, you may be offered the following refund options:

  • Buynep Voucher: A digital voucher with the refund amount that can be used for future purchases on our platform.
  • Bank Deposit: The refund amount will be directly deposited into your provided bank account.
  • Credited to Wallet: If you used a digital wallet (eSewa, Khanti, IME Pay, etc), the refund will be credited back to your respective wallet.
  • Credited to Card: If you used a debit or credit card, the refund will be processed back to the same card used for the original purchase.

  1. Shipping Fee
    The original shipping fee paid for your order may be non-refundable unless the return is due to a defect in the product or an error on our part. Any pickup charges associated with returns (as mentioned in the Exchange Policy) may also be deducted from the refund amount if the return is not due to a Buynep error or product defect.

 

  1. Exchanges vs. Refunds

Please note that Buynep also offers exchange options as outlined in our Exchange Policy. Customers who prefer an exchange should refer to that policy for the specific terms and conditions. In some cases, a refund may be the appropriate resolution.

  1. Data Privacy (for Electronic Items)

If a refund is being processed for an electronic item, please ensure that you have deleted any personal information stored on the device. Buynep will not be held responsible for any remaining data.
